Using TeamRise
Terms of Service
Effective September 15, 2026
These terms apply when you contribute through TeamRise or use its fundraiser administration tools.
About the service
TeamRise Fundraising, a service from Cross Brothers Apparel, provides online contribution pages for teams, schools, and community organizations. Square securely processes card payments. TeamRise is not a bank, card issuer, or tax adviser.
Contributions and fees
Before payment, the checkout shows the total contribution, the organization’s 85% share, and the 15% TeamRise platform fee. Square’s payment-processing fees are separate and may reduce the organization’s payout. A contribution is not tax deductible unless the receiving organization separately confirms that it qualifies and provides the required documentation.
Your authorization
By selecting Contribute, you confirm that the information is accurate, you are authorized to use the payment method, and you approve the displayed charge and fee allocation. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
Fundraiser responsibilities
Each organization is responsible for the accuracy of its name, goal, campaign description, eligibility, use of proceeds, and communications with supporters. Organizations must have authority to fundraise and connect the Square account they authorize.
Prohibited use
Do not use TeamRise for fraud, misleading campaigns, unlawful activity, unauthorized payment testing, infringement, harassment, or attempts to bypass access controls, fees, or security. Access may be limited when necessary to protect contributors, organizations, TeamRise, or Square.
Refunds and disputes
Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy. Contact TeamRise or the fundraiser promptly before filing a payment dispute so we can investigate, but nothing in these terms limits rights provided by applicable law or your card issuer.
Service availability
We work to keep TeamRise reliable and secure, but availability is not guaranteed. The service may be changed, suspended, or corrected to address maintenance, security, payment-provider requirements, or legal obligations.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, TeamRise is not responsible for an organization’s statements or use of funds, or for delays and interruptions caused by Square, financial institutions, networks, or events outside TeamRise’s reasonable control.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means the current terms apply. Questions can be directed through the Contact page.
